14 mile paved bike path that follows the Lake Huron shoreline.

Starting about 100 yards from our Rental HQ is a 14 mile paved bike path that ends at the gorgeous 40 Mile Point Lighthouse. Enjoy the pristine Lake Huron coastline and maybe stop along the way to enjoy the sandy beaches. Insider secret: there is an amazing bakery just past the state park…

Hoeft State Park

Looking for a place to camp? Look no further. Hoeft State Park sits right next to Lake Huron and has beautiful natural scenery (including some of the only sand dunes on the east side of northern Michigan). The 14 mile paved bike path connects right into the park, allowing easy access to Rogers City via bike.

We have some of the cleanest beaches and clearest water on the east side of Michigan. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves:

Prefer to fly? We have a great local airport for smaller aircraft (KPZQ).

Our airport has a terminal building with phone, restroom, WiFi, WSI weather terminal, and AWOS weather terminal. Runway 9/27 is paved 4,105’ x 75’ with tie downs for 11 airplanes. Currently have 3 hangar bays available for rent with 1 hangar bay available for transient aircraft. Camping and cooking allowed on airport for pilots.

Fuel and full service is also available for purchase. Type of Fuel: 100LL.

Cool tip: We deliver rental bikes to the airport for pilots/family/passengers! Feel free to ride around town or up the Lake Huron shoreline on the 14 mile path. Call or Text us at 989-351-0279 for pricing or to make bike reservations.

40 Mile Point Lighthouse

Located at the end of the paved bike path is the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse. Tour the inner workings of the lighthouse, check out a shipwreck, and learn about the history of the lighthouse.
